Volunteer Opportunities

I, the undersigned volunteer, acknowledge that NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE requires the assistance of volunteers in the performance of its welfare mission. I wish to provide such assistance to NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE, in exchange for the personal satisfaction derived from working with NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE in the performance of its welfare mission. Accordingly, I, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, hereby agree as follows: 

  • I agree to comply with all of the rules and regulations which may be established from time to time and I understand that failure to do so may result in my immediate termination as a volunteer. I acknowledge that my services are provided strictly on a volunteer basis, without any pay or compensation of any kind, and without liability of any nature on behalf of NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE. All services will be performed at my own risk.
     
  • I recognize that in handling animals and performing other volunteer services with NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE, there exists a risk of injury including physical harm caused by the animals. On behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE, it's agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims, causes of action, or demands, or any nature or cause, including costs and attorney's fees incurred by NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE in connection with the same, based on damages or injuries which may be incurred or sustained by me in any way connected with my services for NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE, including but not limited to animal bites, accidents, or injuries.
     
  • In addition, I recognize that there exists a risk of damage to my clothing and other personal property. I agree to release NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE, including their agents, servants, and employees from any and all physical injury to me and from any and all damage to my clothing and other personal property relating to or arising out of my participation with the NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE volunteer program.
     
  • By signing this document, I agree to abide by any and all Federal, State, County and Municipality laws, regulations, rules and ordinances that may apply to me or NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE. I hereby waive and release NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE from any liability for expenses, fines, fees, or restitution due as result of not adhering to said laws, regulations, rules, and ordinances and accept for myself the full responsibility for any and all such losses or expenses which may result.
     
  • I give my permission to NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE to use any photographs or video images taken of me as a volunteer.
     
  • I hereby unconditionally release and discharge NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE, including their employees, officers, directors, agents, assigns and successors, from any and all claims, obligations and liabilities of every nature and kind whatsoever, relating to or arising out of my participation with the NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE volunteer program.

I certify that I have never been convicted of animal cruelty, neglect or abandonment. I will notify NEBRASKA NO KILL CANINE RESCUE immediately, and resign my position here, should my status in this regard ever change.
